DieDye Cycle combines dying upcycled clothing with printing recycled images from DD_super.
Locally thrifted garments are dyed in a chaotic improvisation—swapped between dye baths & subjected to shared yet individualistic colour treatments. The final dye pattern are each piece is unique, while subtle similarities that visually unify each production run.
Then a selection of DD_superprint positives are burned to screens for printing. Texts, images, and textures are pulled from their archives then manipulated & remixed. The garments & graphics are both given a second life in playful compositions of color.
